What is Floatation Therapy?

Sometimes your body and mind just need a rest. A moment to step out of all they are asked to do and slide into deep, tranquil time for you. Sometimes, we just need a float. Whether you’re seeking next-level wellness in your body, mind and spirit, or you just need some time to yourself to de-stress, float therapy has the ability to cover all of those bases and then some.

Soul Set's two deluxe cabin-style float tanks will give you ample room to float and will eliminate any concerns of claustrophobia as you can easily step into the cabin and actually stand inside the space.

The cabins are filled with approximately 10 inches of water and over 800 pounds of Epsom salts. The water is monitored at 93.5 degrees, which means you will lose track of where your body ends and the water begins while floating.

Your ears stay just below the water and the tanks are insulated against sound.

After you close the door and turn off the light, you will float in total darkness.

During your float the outside world is gone and amazing things will happen. Your mind is free to mull things over without distraction, your brain pumps out dopamine and endorphins, and your body gets to rest, de-stress and heal.

It’s likely to be the most relaxing thing you have ever experienced.

Tips for

Your Float

Immediately prior to your float, be sure to:

  • Avoid caffeine
  • Avoid eating a large meal
  • Avoid shaving or waxing

Step through the doors of Soul Set and take a long deep breath…you have arrived. You don’t need to bring anything but yourself. We will supply everything you need, take you through the basics, and answer any questions you have before your float session begins.

When your float is done, music fades in to ease you out of your float. Now it’s time to rinse off, get dressed and bask in the post-float glow!
